We have a number of ways to help you explore the Great Tapestry of Scotland.

Our downloadable app ‘The Great Tapestry of Scotland’ offers guided audio tours, immersive soundscapes and a fun interactive adventure hunting for objects hidden within the Tapestry. Our app is available for iOS and Android.

We have ipads with our app downloaded available for use  in the Tapestry Gallery .

The exhibitions include touchscreen directories, so you can find specific panels, using the subject, location or the name of the stitchers.

Opening HOurs: 5th - 12th December

Due to routine conservation work, our Tapestry Gallery will be closed from Tuesday 5th to Tuesday 12th December. During this time our café will be remaining open, so we look forward to continuing to see you.

After a fantastic two years of opening, and welcoming thousands of visitors to enjoy the beauty and history of the panels, we will be carrying out routine inspections to ensure the preservation of the Tapestry for many generations to follow. We apologise for any inconvenience and look forward to welcoming you soon!
