Group Tours

The Great Tapestry of Scotland is Europe’s largest Tapestry located in Galashiels, the historic textile heartland of the Scottish Borders, just 50 minutes from Edinburgh.

1,000 stitchers created this masterpiece, hear their stories of the journey in the making of this intensely moving narrative of Scotland’s history.

From information requests to bespoke tours we welcome all enquiries, and we can supply you with further information and quality images for your itineraries, organise familiarisation trips or arrange group bookings.

If you are looking for something a little bit extra for your group from a talk by the actual stitchers involved in the project or maybe even the chance to have a go at doing your own needlework, then we can help with that!

Coaches can drop off outside the Visitor Centre and park nearby at Currie Road Car Park.
