Welcome to Education at The Great Tapestry of Scotland.

Please find below a list of current packages that can enhance student learning when you visit us.

Our education officer is a fully qualified History teacher with over twelve years teaching experience in the Primary and Secondary sector.

Having a qualified teacher working at The Great Tapestry of Scotland ensures that all our educational programmes are curriculum related, either to BGE curriculum experiences and outcomes or National Curriculum content and skills.

We can tailor workshops and visits to fit in with your schemes of work and curriculum design on a wide range of disciplines. From hands on sewing workshops, digital design, history lessons, creative writing –  there are plenty opportunities to choose from.

Get in touch to discuss further options and classroom ideas.

We look forward to welcoming you and your learners to our award winning visitor centre soon.
