The Wood Cutters By Lola Bell

The Wood Cutters By Lola Bell

In the forest, happy animal’s trees swaying sun as hot as it could be everything was happy.

But not far away in the village there were two men plotting a plan. A bear called Olive heard them and tried to warn the others, but they did not listen. Two days after they came and cut down one tree. The animals went to Olive and said we should have listened to you. Three days after ten trees were cut down.

The animals made a plan, the plan was, the Monkey stole the saws. So, the next day the Monkeys stole the saws. The men did not cut anymore trees down because they didn’t have the saws. Two years after they came back so the Animals had to think of another plan. There plan was to dig a hole in the ground then put leaves on it, so they did it. Two days after something was in it, they went to check it, but it was one of the Monkeys. But the next day they fell in, they got scared so they ran away.

Three years after a group came and planted some trees and the animals loved them. The group came once a month to check on the forest. After a couple of years, the trees grew big, and olive had two cubs called Honey and Syrup. They live in the beautiful forest. Honey and syrup played with the other animals.  Olive told them all about the Wood cutters, and they all lived a happy live.
