Summer Holiday Actvities

Join us for unforgettable Summer Holiday activities at the Great Tapestry of Scotland.

All day, every day during the holidays, we have a selection of trails for you to discover the secrets of the Tapestry:

Animal Treasure Hunt: Embark on an epic quest to find hidden animal treasures throughout the Tapestry. Can you uncover them all? Fun for everyone!

Crack the Code: Put your problem-solving skills to the test and unlock the secrets of our challenging code-breaking activity. Crack the codes and claim your victory!

Find the Famous Scots: Discover the iconic figures of Scottish history as you search for them amidst the Tapestry’s intricate designs. Who will you find?

iPad activities: Dive into a digital world of interactive fun! Engage with our specially curated iPad activities that will entertain and educate you in a unique way.

 

Every Wednesday in July we will have a fun filled day of special activities for all ages.

Storytelling Sessions 

On the mornings of Wednesday 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th July, from 9.30 – 10.30 am we will be running Family Storytelling Sessions. Let your imagination soar as our enchanting Storyteller weave magical tales for under 8s. (Included in your entry to the Tapestry).

Stitching Workshops

Also, in the afternoons of Wednesday 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th July we will be running sewing workshops from 2 pm – 4 pm. Discover the art of sewing in this hands-on workshop. Limited spots available, so book early! Additional cost £15 – pre-booking required, age 8 onwards. To book your place use the form below or contact our Education Officer on tapestry@liveborders.org.uk.
