Not a baaaaaaad day at all!
What a baaaaaanging tune Dolly the sheep thought to herself as she rocked back and forth to the song ‘Jolene’ whilst the scientists around her danced (although they definitely should have been working). Dolly always wondered about Dolly Parton (who she was named after). How did her magical music make everyone so happy? One day, Dolly decided, I will find this leading ‘Lady of Country’ and recreate my dream of singing a duet together. The very next day, her opportunity came in the form of a door which was accidentally left open by a distracted security guard. As quick as a sheep on a mission, Dolly snuck out without being noticed. The first thing she noticed was a huge poster of Dolly Parton on a billboard with her ginormous blond hair. It was advertising her concert that afternoon. Dolly baaaaadly wanted to make it to the concert. Her luck was in, as behind the billboard was Usher Hall, the very same place that Dolly was performing at. Unfortunately, Dolly the sheep was disappointed as a sign clearly said, ‘No Sheep allowed!’ However, Dolly was not going to let a stupid ban stop her from meeting her idol. Coincidentally, all the walls inside were white, the same colour as Dolly. Camouflaging herself like a chameleon, she sneaked through the hallways and into the dressing room where Dolly Parton was putting her makeup on. When Dolly Parton saw Dolly the sheep she squealed in delight and threw her arms around her. You must come on stage with me insisted Dolly Parton. Before Dolly the sheep could reply, she was put in a turquoise sequin dress and given a sparkly microphone. Together they sang ‘Baaaarbara on your Mind.’ Dolly the sheep was known by her new nickname forevermore….. ‘Dolly Baaaaaarton.’
