Memories

“Oi grab your line” yelled a mysterious man as he casted his fishing rod towards the rough Pacific waters. I grabbed my line and casted it as well a. The mysterious man had brown hair with hints of grey streaks of hair as well he introduced himself as Gary and he explained how he always wanted to explore the world we talked about how much we had missed our families already and we have only been on the boat for about 1 hour he also explained how he was a Mechanic but he always had a passion for fishing. He reminded me about my dead father they almost look as identical as I remember him being, but I was only 5 when he died but my mum used to say I went fishing with him she; I was 3 and 4. “We’re going to explore the world” he explained “I know” I answered confused because I already knew why I was on the boat he smirked, and a fish started tugging on his line he reeled it in. It was an outrageously huge yellowfin tuna. We both laughed in amazement and then I blacked out just to wake up in my bed at home realising it was just a memory.
