Book our Makers Place to experience stitching using the same equipment as was used to create the Great Tapestry of Scotland.
Makers Place is a wonderful intimate area within our Discovery Centre. It is on the ground floor of the original turret of the old Post Office.
It is permanently set up for visitors to enjoy the experience of stitching using the same wool and linen used in the making of the Great Tapestry of Scotland.
This room is available for hire and seats a maximum of eight. There is a 65” touchscreen with zoom camera to display intricate needlework in real-time.
Please contact Tapestry@liveborders.org.uk for further information.
