Thursday 15 October 2026 | The Great Tapestry of Scotland
FREE | No booking required
Looking for a fun and creative activity this October holiday?
Join us at The Great Tapestry of Scotland and turn an everyday plastic milk bottle into a glowing underwater creation! Bring along a clean plastic milk bottle and transform it into a colourful bubble fish, jellyfish or another sea-inspired creature to take home.
As part of the workshop, families will discover more about Scotland’s incredible coastlines and learn why protecting our seas and marine wildlife is so important. It’s a chance to get creative, have fun and explore how small actions can make a big difference for our environment.
Drop in at any time during the sessions.
Please bring a clean plastic milk bottle. All other materials will be provided.
Adults must remain with their child/children throughout the workshop and are encouraged to get involved and create together.
This free event is funded through the SBCAN Youth Climate Action Fund.
Every penny you spend with us is reinvested back into supporting the award winning Tapestry for future generations.
As a registered charity even making a small donation would help us to ensure the legacy of our award winning national asset, The People’s Story of Scotland.
