In Summer we open at 9:30am and last ticket purchase is 3:30pm, In Winter we operate seasonal opening hours. Please check our Opening Hours to plan your visit.

The visitor centre is fully accessible to wheelchair users and those with mobility needs, with step-free access, lifts, and accessible toilets. Assistance dogs are welcome. We have more information including links to our AccessAble page here.

Most visitors spend between 1.5 to 2 hours exploring the tapestry, exhibits, and visitor centre, though enthusiasts often make a full day of it, the choice is yours

Yes, you can browse our gift shop which offers a range of Tapestry-themed gifts, Scottish handcrafted items, books and postcards.
Photography is permitted for personal use, but flash photography and tripods are not permitted inside the galleries.
